Pune: Traffic Diversion Implemented on Baner Road for Shivajinagar-Hinjawadi Metro Line Work

Baner, 27th October 2024: Traffic changes have been initiated in the Baner Road area to facilitate construction work on the Pune Metro’s Shivajinagar-Hinjawadi line. The construction will take place between Mauli Petrol Pump and Mahabaleshwar Chowk.

As a precautionary measure, temporary traffic adjustments will be enforced in the area to ensure safety during the construction process. Traffic traveling from Pallod Farm to Vidhate Chowk will be completely closed until 6 AM on Monday. Additionally, all vehicles will be redirected from Tamhane Chowk to Kapil Malhar Chowk along Baner Road.

Amol Zende, Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Traffic Branch, has urged motorists to utilize alternative routes to avoid delays.
