Pune: Ruby Hall Clinic’s Breast Cancer Awareness Program Unites Experts and Survivors for a Day of Empowerment and Education

Pune, 19th October 2024 – Ruby Hall Clinic organized a successful and impactful Breast Cancer Awareness Program, dedicated to educating the community and providing vital resources for women battling breast cancer. The event, held at the clinic’s premises, attracted an enthusiastic crowd of survivors, healthcare professionals, and the public, reinforcing the clinic’s mission to lead in the fight against breast cancer.

The program kicked off with a breast cancer awareness walkathon, symbolizing the strength and solidarity of the women who have fought or are fighting breast cancer. Following the walk, several informative sessions were conducted by distinguished experts, including The sessions covered critical topics such as sexual health, the benefits of yoga and exercise, dietary guidance, mental health support, and breast cancer survivorship programs, equipping attendees with the tools needed for a holistic approach to health. Informative sessions were led by experts, including Dr. Anupama Mane, Dr. Rashmi Bhamare, Dr. Shilpy Dolas, Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, Dr. Mansi Munshi, Dr. Reshma Puranik, Dr.Varsha Hardas.

Adding a personal and inspiring touch to the event, breast cancer survivors shared their stories of resilience and triumph. Among them was a 25-year-old genetic breast cancer survivor, now a talk specialist and chartered accountant, who courageously managed her journey while caring for her 8-month-old baby. Another moving story was that of a badminton player who, despite undergoing breast cancer treatment, went on to become a state-level champion. These stories highlighted the strength and determination of these women, inspiring others to overcome their own battles with hope and courage.
