Pune, 17th October 2024: As the schedule for the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly has been announced and the Code of Conduct is already in effect, eligible citizens who have not yet registered to vote have just two days left. This coming Saturday, 19th October, is the final date to enrol and have the opportunity to vote for your preferred candidate, helping them to become an MLA. Pune District Collector Dr Suhas Diwase has urged everyone to fill out Form No. 6 and register as voters to increase voter turnout.

According to the election program, the last date for filing nomination papers is 29th October, and voter registration can be done up to 10 days before that, which is until 19th October. Voters should check the website https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in to see if their name is on the list. If your name is not on the voter list, Dr Diwase has informed that you should fill out Form 6 and submit it to the concerned officer before 19th October.
