BSNL Introduces New Plan; To Provide Up To 6,500 GB Data With Speed Of 300 Mbps With OTT Platforms; Check Details Below!
New Delhi, 17th October 2024: Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is becoming quite popular among users for its affordable plans. The company has many plans in every category, from prepaid to postpaid to broadband portfolios. BSNL has recently introduced a new plan for its customers. In this BSNL plan, customers will get an Over The Top (OTT) subscription along with calling and data.
BSNL Fibre Ultra OTT Recharge Plan is for broadband users and launched at a price of ₹1,799 per month. In this plan, the company is offering lightning fast data speed to the customers.
In this plan of BSNL, users are being offered speeds up to 300 Mbps. In this plan, customers get unlimited data every month. However, 6,500 GB of data is being provided every month at a speed of up to 300 Mbps. After this limit is exhausted, the speed of the users will be reduced to 20 Mbps.
Along with the plan, BSNL users get free subscriptions to OTT platforms like Disney+ Hotstar, YuppTV, SonyLIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, and EpicON.
With this plan, BSNL customers get a free landline connection for calling. Through this, users are offered unlimited and STD calling for free.
BSNL is continuously upgrading its network. The company plans to install more than one lakh 4G towers in the next six months. During the India Mobile Congress conference being held in New Delhi, Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that BSNL has installed about 38,000 4G towers.
Along with 4G, BSNL is also working vigorously on its 5G network. BSNL has also started testing the 5G network at many places in Delhi. A few months ago, Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also made a video call from BSNL’s 5G network.
