Pune: 280 Laptops Stolen From Company’s Warehouse in Wagholi; Investigation Underway

Wagholi, 17th October 2024: A theft involving 280 laptops worth ₹1.09 crore has been reported at a warehouse in the Wagholi area on Nagar Road. The accused is believed to be a warehouse worker employed by a well-known company. A case has been registered at the Lonikand Police Station.

The suspect has been identified as Suresh Kumar, a resident of Ubale Nagar, Wagholi. The complaint was lodged by Balkrishna Sakharam Raut (38), a resident of Kesnand, Haveli. The incident occurred at Arcline Logistics and Warehouse Pvt Ltd, located in the Ubale Nagar area of Wagholi.

According to police reports, the warehouse stores electronic products from various companies, which are distributed to shops across the city for sale. Raut, the company’s manager, stated that Suresh Kumar had been working at the warehouse for the past two months.

On Monday, 14th October, 280 laptops were discovered missing from the warehouse. Senior Police Inspector Pandit Rejitwad of the Wagholi Police Station visited the site upon receiving the report and confirmed that the police are actively searching for the suspect, Suresh Kumar.
