Pune: Teen Assaults Mother With Scissors Over Late-Night Phone Use, Case Registered

Dhankawadi, 16th October 2024: A minor boy attempted to attack his mother with scissors in Pune after she tried to stop him from watching a TV series on his phone. He also broke the house’s windows and beat his mother. This incident occurred in the Dhankawadi area, and a case has been registered against the minor. His mother filed a complaint with Sahakar Nagar Police Station.

The complainant, a resident of Dhankawadi, stated that her son was watching a TV series on his phone late into the night. When she, like any concerned mother, asked him to stop, he ignored her. Frustrated, she took the phone away, which triggered the boy’s anger. He began beating his mother, broke the wooden frame of the house, and even attempted to stab her with scissors. He kicked and punched her and shattered the glass windows. The terrified mother reported the incident to the police. Police Sub-Inspector Kale visited the scene, and Police Constable Jadhav from Sahakar Nagar is handling the investigation.
