Ajit Pawar Group Leader Baba Siddiqui Shot Dead in Mumbai

Mumbai, 12th October 2024: Baba Siddiqui, a leader of the Ajit Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), was shot dead on Saturday in the Nirmal Nagar area of Bandra, Mumbai. The attack occurred outside the office of his son, Zeeshan Siddiqui, around 9 PM.

Reports indicate that the assailants fired two to three rounds at Baba Siddiqui, striking him in the chest. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital; however, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Additionally, one of Siddiqui’s colleagues was also injured in the attack, suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police are currently investigating the motive behind the attack and are working to apprehend the perpetrators.
