Iran Gets Russia’s Support Against Israel; Putin’s Open Warning To Israel; States “Don’t Dare To Attack”
New Delhi, 12th October 2024: Tensions between Israel and Iran are at their peak. Meanwhile, Russia has made a big statement. Russia has openly come out against Israel and with Iran. Russia criticized the Western countries for provoking Israel. It is believed that Israel can retaliate against Iran at any time. But Russia has given a strong warning before this attack.
At a press conference in Vientiane, Laos, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the Israeli attack was likely to escalate tensions in the region. He said any threat to attack Iran’s civilian nuclear installations would be viewed as a serious provocation by the international community.
The Russian Foreign Minister further said that despite the current tension, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has no evidence that Iran’s nuclear program is being militarized. “Russia base stance on facts. In every country, politicians and MPs express such views. However, it is not necessary that their views match the actual policies of the country’s government. We have seen this pattern before,” he added further.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met for the first time in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan on Friday (11th October). The two leaders also discussed the latest situation in West Asia. According to information, an export agreement of $1.7 billion has also been signed between the two countries for drones and other defense products. Putin openly supported Iran and warned Israel stating “Don’t dare to attack Iran.”
On 1st October, Iran attacked Israel with more than 180 ballistic missiles simultaneously. After the attack, Iran said that this was revenge for the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC General Abbas Nilforoushan. All of them lost their lives in Israeli attacks.
Israel has vowed to take revenge on Iran. According to reports, Israel’s attack on Iran will be more deadly. It is being said that Israel is working on a plan to attack Iran’s nuclear program and oil plants.
