Central Railway Pune Division Massive Fortress Ticket Checking Drive Fetches Rs 1.18 Lakhs In One Day

Pune, 11th October 2024: To ensure safe and comfortable travel and better service to bonafide the rail user a massive fortress check was conducted under the guidance of Indu Dubey, Divisional Railway Manager and Brijesh Kumar Singh Additional DRM Pune Division and direction of Dr. Milind Hirwe, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager at Pune Railway Station of the Central Railway on 10.10.2024 from 08.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs.

During the drive Rs 1.18 Lakhs from 410 passengers were realized from without ticket/ Irregular traveling passengers and towards unbooked luggage carried by the passengers.

The check was supervised by Hemant Kumar Behera, Divisional Commercial Manager (Ticket Checking). The check was conducted by mobilising 35 ticket checking staff and 2 RPF personnel. During the check all entry exit gates and vantage locations were deployed by the Ticket checking staff.

Railways officials appealed to the travelling public to travel with valid Journey tickets. Visitors entering the railway platforms and ticketing areas are requested to purchase a valid platform ticket to avoid penal charges.
