Vivo Launches Two New Phones Of Vivo V40 Series; 50MP Primary Camera With 32MP Selfie Camera And 5000mAh Battery
New Delhi, 27th September 2024: Vivo has launched two new phones of its camera-centric smartphone Vivo V40 series. The company has launched Vivo V40 Lite 5G and Vivo V40 Lite 4G in Indonesia. The design and key specifications of both phones are the same. The company has introduced the 5G variant with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and the 4G variant with Snapdragon 685. Both the phones have a 32-megapixel primary camera. Along with this, the phone has a 5000mAh battery and 80W fast charging support.
Vivo V40 Lite 5G has been launched in two variants. The base variant of the phone 8GB + 256GB has been introduced in Indonesia for IDR 4,299,000; about ₹23,700. Its second variant will come with 12GB + 512GB, the price of which has not been revealed yet.
Talking about Vivo V40 Lite 4G, its base variant with 8GB + 128GB has been introduced for IDR 3,599,000; about ₹19,900. Along with this, the 8GB + 256GB variant has been introduced for IDR 3,699,000; about ₹20,400.
Vivo V40 Lite 5G has been launched in Carbon Black and Titanium Silver color options. At the same time, users will also get the option of Whirl Violet color in the 4G variant.
Both Vivo V40 Lite 5G and V40 Lite 4G have a 6.67-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The maximum brightness of the phone’s display is 1800 nits.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor has been given in the Vivo V40 Lite 5G smartphone. Up to 12 GB of RAM is available on the phone. Along with this, talking about the 4G variant, this phone has been launched in the market with Snapdragon 685 with 8 GB RAM. Vivo has provided support for Android 14 on both phones.
Both Vivo V40 Lite 5G and 4G have dual rear camera setup. The 5G variant has a 50 MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor. The secondary camera of the phone is an 8MP ultrawide sensor. On the other hand, Vivo V40 Lite 4G has a 50 MP primary sensor along with a 2 MP depth sensor. Both Vivo phones have a 32 MP selfie camera.
Both Vivo V40 Lite 5G and 4G variants have a 5000mAh battery. Both devices come with 80W fast charging.
Both Vivo phones have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. For connectivity, it has options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, OTG, NFC, and USB Type-C.
