Pune: BMVSS and Pinnacle Industries Launch Free Artificial Limb Fitment Camp, Benefitting Over 400 People

Pune, 25th September 2024: In an inspiring initiative to empower individuals with mobility challenges, the BMVSS (Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti) Indore Centre, in collaboration with Pinnacle Industries, has launched a seven-day free artificial limb fitment camp in Pune. Running from 24th to 30th September 2024, the camp aims to provide artificial limbs and other mobility aids to over 400 beneficiaries.

The camp is generously sponsored by Tata Autocomp Systems Ltd. as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. It also receives support from the Innerwheel Club of Khadki 313, reflecting their ongoing commitment to social welfare. Additionally, the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Sarvajanik Ganpati Trust and Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal are key local partners in this initiative, renowned for their community service.

The camp offers free fitting and distribution of artificial limbs, calipers, crutches, and other assistive devices to those in need. This initiative is designed to restore mobility and independence to individuals from economically weaker sections, helping improve their quality of life.

The camp, held at the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Sarvajanik Ganpati Trust’s Sajavat Vibhag in Hirabag Koti, Pune, features expert technicians and volunteers to ensure each beneficiary receives personalized care and high-quality fittings.
