Pune: Bar Owners Booked for Operating Beyond Permitted Hours in Viman Nagar
Viman Nagar, 20th September 2024: Four individuals have been booked by the Pune City Police for keeping their kitchen and bar restaurant open beyond the permitted hours.
The accused, identified as the owners and staff of Escada All Day Kitchen & Bar in Viman Nagar. Police officials found the hotel operating at 3 AM, well beyond the allowed hours.
According to police, they noticed the restaurant open beyond permitted hours and took necessary action.
In recent weeks, authorities have intensified their crackdown on non-compliant establishments. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) recently took action against many hotels with unauthorized constructions, while the police and excise departments targeted 65 pubs, bars, and restaurants for license-related violations.
The police have issued a stern warning to hotel owners across Pune, emphasizing that strict measures will be taken against those who disregard legal guidelines and operating hours.
