New Delhi, 20th September 2024: Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, several major airlines, including Air India, have suspended flights to the region, prioritizing the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft. Due to ongoing security concerns, services to destinations like Tel Aviv and Beirut have been halted or temporarily suspended.

Several airlines have stopped flights to the Middle East, citing security risks:

Air India: The Indian airline has canceled all flights to Tel Aviv until further notice.

Air Algérie: The Algerian airline has canceled its flights to Lebanon until further notice.

Air France-KLM: Air France had canceled services to Beirut and Tel Aviv until 19th September. However, services remain suspended as of today. Meanwhile, KLM has suspended all flights to Tel Aviv until 26th October, and flights to Beirut and other destinations are suspended until 31st March 2025.

Cathay Pacific: The Hong Kong-based airline has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until March 2025.

Delta Air Lines: The US carrier has suspended its New York-Tel Aviv route until 31st December 2024.

Lufthansa Group: The German airline has halted all services to Tel Aviv and Tehran until 19th September, while flights to Beirut are suspended until 30th September.
