Pimpri Chinchwad: Sangvi Police Detain Two Youths for Alleged Attempted Murder, Vandalism of 14 Vehicles
Pimple Gurav, 18th September 2024: To spread terror in Pimpri Chinchwad, two youths vandalized 14 vehicles. Yesterday, the duo was arrested and paraded through the area where they committed the vandalism. They also attempted to kill a person with a Koyta. This incident occurred in the Pimple Gurav area on Sunday, September 15th. The Sangvi Police identified the individuals as Shashikant Dadarao Bansode and Prathamesh Arun Ingale. They vandalized the vehicles to make a name for themselves by instilling fear in the Pimple Gurav and Sangvi areas.
According to police reports, a few days prior, an attack had occurred involving two individuals and several assailants. In retaliation, Bansode and Ingale were searching for one of the attackers at 4 AM. They asked a man for the address of the assailant, and when he refused to provide it, they attacked him with a Koyta. As they left, the accused vandalized every vehicle they could find.
The Sangvi Police quickly responded, reviewing CCTV footage and apprehending the suspects within a few hours. To demonstrate the consequences of their actions, the police paraded them through the area.
