A young man, Sunil Sarode, was killed in the middle of the night in the Gultekdi area of Pune. Reports indicate that Sarode, who lived in the Dias Plot area, was murdered by goons.

The alleged accused are Rohan Kamble and Shivsharan Kamble, who were recently released on bail under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) of 1999. Both have been detained by the police.

According to sources, Sarode and the Kamble brothers were friends. On 7th July, which was Rohan Kamble’s birthday, Sarode had allegedly beaten him. This incident angered both Kamble brothers.
