Football: Sai F.A, Legends United F.C, Eagles F.C ease into last 4
Pune, 31st August 2024: Sai F.A, City F.C Pune, Legends United F.C, Eagles F.C registered easy wins to advance into the next round of the III-Division Knock Outs at the Ganga Legends, Bavdhan.
Sai F.A eased past Beta Sports 3-1, City F.C Pune pumped a 5-1 win over Black Hawks F.C which included a four-goal hat-trick effort by Lalit Patil (3rd, 18th, 40th, 58th). In other easy matches, Legends United F.C got past Invaders F.C and Eagles pushed out Poona Social Sports Club 3-0 to sail into the semifinals.
On the otherhand, Vincent’s Old Boys Association ‘B’ struggled past Legends F.A 4-1 via the tie-breaker, Mathew F.A pipped Indrayani ‘B’ 2-1, Durga Sports posted a 2-0 win over Highlanders and Sangvi F.C ‘B’ beat Infants Elite F.C to make up the winners.
