PDA Queen Competition 2024: Pune Doctors Association Celebrates with Enthusiasm

Pune, 31st August 2024: The Pune Doctors Association (PDA) Women’s Forum Committee successfully hosted the “PDA Queen-2024” event at Sai Palace, Ambegaon (Bk.), Pune, marking a momentous occasion for the women members of the association. The event, held on August 25, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy, bringing together a large turnout of PDA women members and their families.
The event began with a traditional lamp lighting and Dhanvantari Pooja, led by the chief guest, Dr. Sachin Fad, alongside PDA President Dr. Sachin Kedar, and other dignitaries. PDA Secretary Dr. Swapnali Wadekar delivered the opening remarks, followed by Dr. Deepa Wagh, Chairperson of the Women’s Forum, who provided an overview of the event’s preparations and expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the participating members.
In his address, PDA President Dr. Sachin Kedar highlighted the significance of the event, noting that it was the first of its kind exclusively for women members. He underscored the association’s social initiatives and encouraged continued support for future endeavors. Chief Guest Dr. Sachin Fad, who played a pivotal role in making the event possible, lauded PDA’s efforts and extended his best wishes to all participants.
The event featured a competition judged by Dr. Prerna Beri, Dr. Amruta Bahrate, and Shalaka Kharade, who were honored for their contributions. The awardees are

The event was skillfully anchored by Dr. Charushila Dukre, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Treasurer Dr. Ashwini Ghodke. Key organizers, including PDA Chairman Dr. Sachin Kedar, Secretary Dr. Swapnali Wadekar, and Treasurer Dr. Ashwini Ghodke, played vital roles in the event’s success, with coordination efforts led by Dr. Manisha Kavitake and Dr. Mayuri Bhoi.
