ENTRIES OPEN FOR GLOBAL STUDENT ENTREPRENEUR AWARDS (GSEA) – 2017
Pune, 02nd November 2017: Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) in association with their Pune chapter announces the opening of entries for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards, 2017. The applications will be accepted until November 30th, 2017. Pune Finals to be held on 9th December 2017 at Yashada Rajbhavan Complex, Baner. GSEA promotes undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurs who show promise in excelling in areas of innovation and personally vow to their business and communities. Nominees compete against their peers from around the world for the chance to win up to $ 400,000 cash and prizes from sponsor organizations. Globally Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) has 12,000+ members in 160 chapters spread across 52 countries.
Eligibility Criteria includes:
1.The participant must be enrolled in an undergraduate and graduate program at a recognized college or university.
2. The participant should own a business that has been operational for a minimum of six consecutive months or is principally responsible for the operations at the time of applying.
Now in its fifth year EO Pune is the 13th chapter of EO South Asia. Since its culmination the Pune chapter has celebrated entrepreneurs’ from various industries like Automobile, Real Estate, Software, Education, Food and Beverages, Jewellery, Electronics, Entertainment, Finance, Commodities etc.

Pune award winners will be eligible to participate in the National level competition on 2nd -3rd March 2018, in Bangladesh. The EO national winner then moves to go head to head against the best student entrepreneur in the world at GSEA Global Finals in Toronto, Canada on 14th April 2018. The awards support student entrepreneurs through mentorship, recognition, and connections to take their
businesses to the next level of success. GSEA inspires students to adopt entrepreneurial endeavours by bringing global visibility to undergraduate business owners whose companies are innovative, profitable, and socially responsible and adhere to high ethical standards.
