Football: AIFA Sky Hawks ride on Omkar hatrick thrash GoG in high scoring game

Pune, 22nd August 2024: Diego Juniors pulled off a narrow hard fought win Snigmay F.C, while AIFA Sky Hawks recorded a huge win over Game of Goal Football Coaching Centre in the PDFA Super Division League at the Ganga Legends, Bavdhan ground.

The day was laced by Diego Juniors putting up a spirited fight to down Snigmay FC 4-3. A brace by Karan Madke (37th & 40th) and a goal each by Ansh Waghmare (68th), Glenn Rebello (72nd) helped make Diego Juniors day. For Snigmay F.C Ankush Kumar (44th) and a brace by Pratik Patil (54th & 60th) narrowed the margin.

AIYFA Sky Hawks were on a scoring spree against Game of Goal Football Coaching Centre and won 9-3. The highlight of the game was a hat-trick by Omkar Nale (47th, 61st, 66th) and a brace by Sadeem Mohammed (12th & 13th), while Hritik Patil (5th), Harsh Darda (21st), Harsh Rathod (12th), Raj More (80th) added a goal each to make up the scoreline. For GoG, Sumit Singh (67th, 90th+2) and Iswar Kshirsagar (62nd) pulled back the margin.

In a close match, Chetak F.C edged Thundercatz 1-0, with Ajun Chaudhary (53rd) turning out the match winner.

In a one sided matchup, Utkarsh Krida Manch (UKM) downed Thundercatz 6-2 in a match played earlier in the week. Vedang Pingale (1st, 6th), Parag Deshpande (24th), Shubham (31st), Own Goal (65th); Atharva Chavan (78th) showed a collective effort in making the scoreline. For Thundecatz Prithviraj Jagdale (37th) and Yash Salunke (51st) pulled back the score.

Earlier, Indrayani S.C downed Sanghvi F.C 5-0. Ayush Deepak (39th), Suraj Bhairat (49th), Ajay Rathod (65th), Shivkumar Shetty (85th) and Shubham Gaikwad (87th) struck a goal each for the winners Indrayani SC.
