Pune, 16th August 2024: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal (PMPML) introduced its new mobile app, “Apli PMPML,” on Independence Day.
The mobile app, which will be available for download on the Google Play Store, aims to provide passengers with a range of convenient features designed to improve their commuting experience. The app will be available for public use starting from August 17, 2024.
Key Features of the “Apli PMPML” Mobile App:
1. Comprehensive Bus Route Information:
Passengers can easily access detailed information about all bus routes. The app will help users navigate from their current location to their desired destination by providing necessary route details.
2. Live Bus Tracking:
The app allows passengers to track the live location of buses. This feature will enable users to estimate the arrival time of buses at their stops, ensuring better time management.
3. Online Ticket Purchase:
Commuters can purchase tickets online through the app using UPI payment options, offering a seamless and cashless transaction experience.
4. Daily Passes Availability:
The app offers daily passes priced at ₹40, ₹50, and ₹120, which can be purchased directly through the platform, making daily commutes more affordable and convenient.
5. Complaint Registration:
Passengers can register their complaints directly through the app, allowing for quick resolution of issues and improved customer service.
6. Pune Metro Ticket Purchase:
In addition to bus services, the app also enables passengers to purchase metro tickets, making it a one-stop solution for public transport in Pune.
