FYJC Special Admission Round 1 Merit List Announced for Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad

Pune, 6th August 2024: The merit list for the first round of special admissions for first-year junior college (FYJC) in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad was released on Monday, under the centralised admission process.

Over 30,000 students were allocated seats, with a significant number securing spots in their preferred science stream. Out of a total of 68,542 available seats, 33,074 students made it to the final merit list, and 30,594 of them were placed in junior colleges according to their preferences, according to Jyoti Parihar, Assistant Director of the Deputy Director of Education (Pune).

“Students need to click on ‘proceed for admission’ in their login, upload the necessary documents, and confirm their admission by visiting the college,” Parihar explained. “Those who do not complete the admission process, or whose admission is rejected or revoked, will not be eligible for subsequent rounds.”
