IBPS Opens Applications for 5351 PO and SO Positions in National Banks

Pune, 1st August 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has commenced the application process for the recruitment exams of 5351 Probationary Officer (PO) and Specialist Officer (SO) positions in public sector national banks. The application window opened on August 1, providing a significant opportunity for millions of candidates preparing for a banking career. The exams, identified as CRP PO/MT XIV and CRP SPL-XIV, aim to fill vacancies in several national banks across India.

IBPS has released separate notifications for the 5351 vacancies, with 4455 positions for the CRP PO/MT XIV exam and 896 positions for the CRP SPL-XIV exam. The banks participating in this recruitment drive include Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank, and Union Bank of India.

Candidates can register for the PO and SO exams on the official IBPS website, ibps.in. The registration process involves filling out an online application form, which is available until August 21. Links to the application forms and notifications are provided on the IBPS website.

To be eligible for the IBPS PO/MT exam, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. For the IBPS SO exam, candidates need a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in the relevant subject or stream, depending on the position. Applicants must be between 20 and 30 years old as of August 1, 2024. Age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories as per central government regulations.
