Mahindra Thar Roxx To Launch With Panoramic Sunroof, Teaser Reveals

Pune, 30th July 2024: Mahindra is set to launch its new Thar Roxx SUV on August 15, 2024. A recent teaser image has revealed that the upcoming five-door version of the popular Mahindra Thar will feature a panoramic sunroof. Mahindra has been releasing teasers and videos detailing the features of the Thar Roxx, which is expected to attract a lot of attention from SUV enthusiasts. The teaser image confirms that the Mahindra Thar Roxx will come with a panoramic sunroof, enhancing the vehicle’s appeal. The image also indicates an improved interior lighting system and a light-colored interior, likely white. However, it remains unclear whether the panoramic sunroof will be available across all variants.

Earlier, Mahindra released a video providing a comprehensive look at the Thar Roxx’s exterior. The SUV features circular LED headlights, C-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), newly designed alloy wheels, and black wheel arch cladding. Additionally, the position of the rear door handle has been modified, and the Thar Roxx badging is placed on the right side of the front fender.

Under the hood, the Mahindra Thar Roxx is expected to offer three engine options. These include a 2.2-liter diesel engine, a 2-liter petrol engine, and potentially a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The SUV will come with both six-speed manual and six-speed torque converter automatic transmission options.

Reports suggest that the Thar Roxx will be equipped with advanced features such as a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, a digital instrument cluster, automatic air conditioning, LED lights, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and steering wheel-mounted audio and music controls.

The starting ex-showroom price for the Mahindra Thar Roxx is expected to be around 17 lakh rupees, with the top variant potentially costing up to 21 lakh rupees. Currently, the three-door version of the Thar is available at ex-showroom prices ranging from 11.35 lakh rupees to 17.60 lakh rupees.
