Pimpri Chinchwad, 29th July 2024: Karjat Jamkhed MLA Rohit Pawar visited Pimpri Chinchwad yesterday, where he had Misal with City President Tushar Kamthe and other leaders of the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). During this visit, he criticized those targeting veteran leader Sharad Pawar. Rohit Pawar spoke with the media during the meeting.

Rohit Pawar stated, “Political leaders from Gujarat come to Maharashtra and criticize Sharad Pawar, but people don’t like it. Regardless of who comes to Maharashtra, whether it is the Prime Minister Modi or Amit Shah, nobody can stop the Mahavikas Aghadi from coming to power in Maharashtra.”

MLAs from Ajit Pawar-led NCP expressed disappointment over Amit Shah’s criticism of Sharad Pawar. Recently, there have been speculations about a potential reunion between Ajit Pawar and his uncle Sharad Pawar. Commenting on this, Karjat Jamkhed MLA Pawar said, “The Lok Sabha session has concluded. We could have understood if Ajit Pawar’s MLAs had taken a stand before that. However, for developmental purposes, Ajit Pawar aligned with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He also suggested that Sharad Pawar should retire. But with the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections approaching, if Ajit Pawar’s MLAs believe that both leaders should come together, the decision will rest with Sharad Pawar.”

Rohit Pawar also mentioned that with the support of loyal activists, Sharad Pawar is determined to bring the Mahavikas Aghadi government back to Maharashtra.

Currently, Ajit Pawar is refraining from criticizing Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule. Rohit Pawar remarked on this, saying, “After the Lok Sabha elections, it is clear that people do not appreciate criticism of Sharad Pawar. This is why Ajit Pawar has stopped commenting on Supriya Sule and Sharad Pawar. If he continues, it could backfire and affect votes. This may be why Ajit Pawar is avoiding criticism of Supriya Sule and Sharad Pawar.”
