Pune Experiences Moderate to Heavy Rainfall; IMD Issues Rainfall Warning for Thursday

Pune, 24th July 2024: Pune City saw a range of moderate to heavy rainfall across various areas today. Light to moderate rainfall are expected in Pune till 30th July.

According to data from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the rainfall recorded from 08:30 IST to 20:30 IST was as follows:

– Shivajinagar: 7.7 mm
– Pashan: 6.5 mm
– Lohegaon: 13.6 mm
– Chinchwad: 33.5 mm
– Lavale: 104.0 mm
– Magarpatta: 3.0 mm
– NDA: 29.5 mm
– Koregaon Park: 6.5 mm

IMD Forecast & Warning for Tomorrow (Thursday):

The IMD has forecasted an overcast sky with continuous moderate to heavy rainfall for tomorrow. The expected rainfall ranges from 15.6 mm to 115.4 mm, with the possibility of very heavy (115.6-204.4 mm) to extremely heavy rainfall (≥204.5 mm) in isolated Ghat areas.
