Pune: FIR Against Orchids International School Undri Officials For Cheating Students And Parents

Kondhwa, 20th July 2024: The Kondhwa Police have registered a case against the CEO, Director, and Principal of Orchids International School, Undri, for allegedly defrauding students and parents.

The complaint, lodged by education department officer Gyandev Abaji Khose (55), accuses the school’s management of running the institution without necessary government approvals.

The case has been filed against Jai DeCosta, who resides in Bangalore; director Sameer Gorde, the Director, residing in Viman Nagar; and Anita Nair, the principal.

According to the complaint, the school has been operating classes from 1st to 10th grade without fulfilling the Education Department’s rules and regulations. The management admitted students and collected education fees despite lacking official approval.

Khose’s complaint alleges that the school’s administration deceived the government, parents, and students by taking possession of students’ certificates and educational documents without proper authorization. This alleged breach of protocol has prompted the Kondhwa Police to initiate an investigation into the matter.
