Video of IAS Puja Khedkar’s Mother Arguing with Pune Metro Workers Goes Viral

Aundh, 16th July 2024: A recent viral video from 2022 shows an altercation involving Manorama Khedkar, mother of IAS probationary officer Puja Khedkar, with the Pune Metro team and Pune Police. This incident was recorded by both police and metro officials as evidence.
The Khedkar family owns a lavish bungalow named Om Deep in National Housing society on Baner Road in Aundh, Pune. For Pune Metro construction work, some materials were placed on the footpath, the same footpath that is still encroached upon by the Khedkar family. The incident led to Manorama Khedkar arguing, misbehaving, and having an altercation with the Pune Metro team.
The Pune Metro team reported the matter to the Chaturshringi Police Station, prompting police officers to arrive at the scene. Despite the police presence, Manorama Khedkar continued her argument, and the matter remained unresolved.

In this context, while speaking to Punekar News, a senior police official confirmed that if a complaint is lodged with the police, legal action would be initiated after necessary verification.
