Pune: 19 Tree Fall Incidents Reported Due to Rains Till 6 PM

Pune, 14th July 2024: Rains have led to significant disruptions in Pune today, with the fire brigade receiving reports of 19 fallen trees and one incident of drowning between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

08:32 AM: Hadapsar, 15th Number Chowk

08:35 AM: Kothrud Bus Depot

08:55 AM: Pashan

09:22 AM: Janwadi, Arun Kadam Chowk

09:29 AM: Prabhat Road

09:50 AM: Near Pune Station, Central Building

10:00 AM: Wadarwadi

10:24 AM: Kasba Peth

10:52 AM: Bibvewadi

11:41 AM: Pashan, Virbhadra Nagar

01:32 PM: Kothrud, near Sutar Dispensary

02:18 PM: Mohamadwadi

02:23 PM: Narhe, near Abhinav College

02:41 PM: Mukundnagar

05:10 PM: Vishrantwadi

In addition to these incidents, at 4:48 PM, a report was received regarding a woman who had drowned in the lake at Gujarwadi, Khopde Nagar. Fire brigade personnel are currently conducting search operations.
