Pune: 14-Year-Old Boy Dies By Suicide in Pimple Saudagar, Police Investigation On

Pimple Saudagar, 13th July 2024: A shocking incident has emerged in Pimpri Chinchwad, where a school-going boy allegedly died by suicide.

According to residents and police, the boy jumped from the 7th floor of his building at Roseland Residency in Pimple Saudagar. The boy was 14 years old and studied in the 9th grade. Yesterday, his parents were out of town due to a function. They had a call today, after which he attempted suicide.

He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Pimple Saudagar, but his condition was critical, and he succumbed to his injuries around 2:30 PM today.

According to a resident of Roseland Residency, the boy was living with neighbours due to his parents being out of town. He was speaking to his parents and, in the middle of the conversation, cut the call, threw the phone, and ran to jump.
