Pune: Controversial IAS Officer Pooja Khedkar’s Audi Car Traced to Mother’s Ex-Colleague

Pune, 12th July 2024: Controversial IAS officer Pooja Khedkar is currently in the limelight in Pune, with discussions about her circulating nationwide due to several allegations against her. However, the most talked-about issue is her Audi car, which had a beacon installed. This controversy began because of the beacon, but initially, there was no information about the car’s ownership. An important update has now emerged: the Audi used by Pooja Khedkar belonged to her mother Manorama Khedkar’s ex-colleague.

The Audi used by Pooja Khedkar is owned by Thermoverita Engineering Private Limited. The original owner of this company was a director at a company where Manorama Khedkar also worked. Manorama Khedkar, the mother of the controversial IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, owns a company named Diligence Infraprojects Private Limited.

While on assignment in Pune, Pooja Khedkar used to drive an Audi with a red beacon. Several fines have been imposed on this car. A police investigation revealed that the car was registered under her private engineering company. There are 21 complaints against the car for violating traffic rules, and a fine of Rs 27,000 has been imposed, which has not yet been paid.

It is reported that the Pune police will take action regarding the illegal installation of a beacon on the Audi used by Pooja Khedkar. Interestingly, Pooja Khedkar had also put a board on the car stating ‘Maharashtra Govt.’ It is understood that the police will take action under the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988. There is also an additional fine of Rs 21,000 for non-compliance with traffic rules on the Audi. The police will soon clarify whether Pooja Khedkar will be fined or if a case will be filed against her.
