Hyundai Launches Knight Edition of Exter SUV to Mark Anniversary

Pune, 10th July 2024: To commemorate the first anniversary of its entry-level SUV, Exter, Hyundai Motors has launched the Knight Edition in the Indian market. The South Korean automaker introduced this special edition with unique features and a powerful engine to attract Generation Z customers. The Knight Edition of Exter is available with distinct exterior and interior designs, as well as varied pricing options. Let’s delve into the details of this new launch.

Hyundai has introduced the Exter Knight Edition, targeting young, adventurous buyers. This special edition features an all-black paint job, complemented by red color inserts on the exterior and interior. The exterior includes sporty black paint side sill garnishes, front bumpers, rear tailgates, front brake calipers, and skid plates with red inserts. The Knight Edition branding and Hyundai logo are also in black. Inside, the red footwell lighting, seats, and mats enhance the theme.

The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is equipped with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine, delivering 81 BHP and 113 Newton meters of torque. It offers a choice between a 5-speed manual and an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT).

Hyundai has introduced the Exter Knight Edition in SX and SX (O) variants. The ex-showroom price for the SX variant is INR 8.38 lakhs, while the SX (O) variant starts at INR 9.70 lakhs. The starting price for the AMT transmission variant is INR 9.05 lakhs, and the top variant with AMT transmission has an ex-showroom price of INR 10.43 lakhs. This pricing strategy aims to cater to different customer segments, ensuring a wider reach in the market.
