Pune:’Panhala Te Pawankhind’ To Unfold the Heroic Saga of the Maratha Reign

Pune 10th July 2024: Punekars can now learn more about our glorious history through ‘Goshta Ithe Sampat Nahi – Panhala te Pawankhind’ organized by Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu Trust, Pune on Saturday 13th July 2024, 5.30 pm at Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu Office Trust, 573 Shaniwar Peth. The entry to the program is free for all on a first come first served basis. The program is being organized to commemorate the 364th death anniversary of Maratha Army General Baji Prabhu Deshpande

The program is a brainchild of two young IT professionals Sarang Bhoirkar and Sarang Mandke, who want more and more people to know about the magnificent history of the Maratha Empire. For this, theatre is the chosen medium wherein a portion of the history is selected and presented to the audience in a captivating format.

The core idea behind the program is to bring out the impact made on young minds by historical events taught in textbooks, the dreams that are created by it, and the historical heritage that gets passed on to the next generation. In the program to be held on 13th July, audiences will be able to experience ‘Panhala te Pawankhind’, a story of Veer Baji Prabhu’s unparalleled loyalty to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
