Pune: Forest Officials Detain Youths for Hooliganism at Vetal Tekdi

Pune, 9th July 2024: Maharashtra Forest Department Officials detained five youths who were causing a disturbance by taking two-wheelers to Vetal Hill on Sunday (7th July) evening around 6:00 PM. The individuals involved have been identified as Tushar Jore, Rishikesh Bandgar, Ayush Shinde, Prateek Shinde, and Vikas Kamble.

At Vetal Hill, these youths reportedly behaved inappropriately with tourists and were involved in altercations. They also disturbed wildlife by honking their vehicles loudly. Furthermore, they engaged in a dangerous act by entering into a mine.

The operation to detain them was carried out by Sub-Conservator of Forests Mahadev Mohite, Assistant Conservator of Forests Deepak Pawar, Forest Range Officer Pradeep Sankpal, and Forest Guards Krishna Hakke, Dayanand Aitwad, and Dhanaji Salunkhe.
