Pune: Vandalism in Vadgaon Sheri, Drunken Rampage Damages Over 10 Vehicles

Vadgaon Sheri, 22nd June 2024: In a shocking incident of vandalism fueled by drunkenness, three individuals caused extensive damage to vehicles in the Vadgaon Sheri area of Pune. The incident occurred around 3:00 am and led to the detention of three people, including two minors.

Local citizens alerted the police to the destruction of vehicles on the road in Ganesh Nagar, Vadgaon Sheri. The perpetrators, under the influence of alcohol, had used iron weapons to vandalize the vehicles, creating panic in the neighborhood.

The police managed to detain one individual on the spot and nabbed the other two shortly thereafter. The drunken rampage resulted in significant damage to approximately ten to twelve vehicles, including two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and rickshaws.

The detained individuals are currently in custody at Chandannagar police station as investigations continue.
