Pune: PMPML Launches Feeder Bus Service from Ramwadi Metro Station to EON IT Park
Kharadi, 20th June 2024: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has introduced a Metro feeder bus service connecting Ramwadi Metro Station to EON IT Park in Kharadi. The initiative aims to enhance convenience for residents and IT companies in the Kharadi area.
The service inauguration was attended by PMPML Chairman and Managing Director, Dr. Sanjay Kolte, and Maha Metro Rail Director (Systems & Operations) Vinod Agarwal, along with other officials and representatives from Kharadi companies.
The feeder service is designed to facilitate seamless and punctual onward journeys for passengers from Ramwadi Metro Station. Starting at 7:30 AM, buses will depart every 30 minutes until 9:00 PM, covering key locations such as Wadgaon Sheri Phata, Viman Nagar Corner, Chandan Nagar, Kharadi Bypass, Janak Baba Dargah, Kharadi Chowk, World Trade Center No. 3 & 5, and Eon Gate No. 2 (Kharadi).
Dr. Sanjay Kolte highlighted the use of eco-friendly smart AC electric buses on this route, urging maximum passenger utilization to combat pollution and alleviate traffic congestion.
