Pune: 37 Students Secure 100th Percentile in MHT-CET, Up from 28 Last Year

Pune, 17th June 2024: In the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) conducted for admission to Engineering, Technology, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses, 37 students from both PCB and PCM groups have secured the 100th percentile. Last year, 28 students achieved this feat. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) declared the results yesterday.

According to the CET Cell press release, 18 students from the open category secured first rank in the 100th percentile. In the OBC category, eight students secured the first position with a 100th percentile. The top achievers include Paresh Kshetri from Mumbai, Sana Wankhede from Nagpur from the SC category, Srujan Atram from Akola, and Suyansh Chauhan from Ranchi in the ST category. Rihan Inamdar from Nashik and Manthan Jadhav from Ranchi topped the Liberal Caste category. Saloni Karale from Kolhapur and Devesh More from Pune led in the NT (B) category. In the NT (C) category, Om Gochade and Pranav Gawand of Wardha were the top performers. Aradhya Sanap and Samriddhi Ombase of Jaipur are leading in the NT (D) category.

Website Slowed Down Due to Traffic

The CET Cell had announced that the results would be declared at 6 PM. However, as soon as the results were released, the website experienced heavy traffic, causing it to slow down significantly. Consequently, many parents and students had to wait a long time to see the results.
