PMPML Expands Six Bus Routes to Enhance Connectivity in Pune

Pune, 11th June 2024: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) administration has decided to expand six bus routes, covering more areas within the existing routes. This expansion will benefit many people by reducing the need to change buses frequently. PMPML provides essential public transportation in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, and the PMRDA area, helping reduce traffic congestion, offering affordable travel options, and promoting eco-friendly commuting through its extensive bus network.

The expansions are as follows:

– Bus Route No. B1: Extension from Dighi to Bhosari, now reaching Pimpri Metro Station.
– Bus Route No. 17: Extension from Narhe Gaon to Swargate, now reaching Civil Court Metro Station.
– Bus Route No. 118: Extension from Swargate to Nanded City, now reaching Bageshree Society.
– **Bus Route No. 190:** Extension from Hadapsar to Vadki Gaon, now reaching Mastani Lake.
– Bus Route No. 356: Extension from Pradhikaran Sector No. 12 to Bhosari, now reaching Nashik Phata Metro Station.
– Bus Route No. 375: Extension from Internity Company (Hinjawadi) to Shivaji Chowk, now reaching Mukai Chowk.

PMPML has expanded these routes according to passenger demand.

– Bus Route No. B1: Dighi to Pimpri Metro Station.
– Via: Bhosari, Landewadi, Bhosari MIDC, Pimpri Depot.
– Number of Buses: 1.
– Frequency: 1 hour 30 minutes.

– Bus Route No. 17: Narhe Gaon to Civil Court Metro Station.
– Via: Sinhagad Road, Swargate, Shanipar Chowk, AB Chowk, PMC Bhawan.
– Number of Buses: 9.
– Frequency: 20 minutes.

– Bus Route No. 118: Swargate to Bageshree Society (Nanded City).
– Via: Sinhagad Road, Anand Nagar, Nanded Phata, Nanded City.
– Number of Buses: 1.
– Frequency: 2 hours.

– Bus Route No. 190: Hadapsar to Mastani Lake (Vadki).
– Via: Shewale Vasti, Gaikwad Vasti, Talewadi.
– Number of Buses: 2.
– Frequency: 1 hour 30 minutes.

– Bus Route No. 356: Pradhikaran Sector No. 12 to Nashik Phata Metro Station.
– Via: Indrayani Nagar, Bhosari, Landewadi.
– Number of Buses: 1.
– Frequency: 1 hour 45 minutes.

– Bus Route No. 375: Mukai Chowk to Internity Company (Hinjawadi).
– Via: Ravet, Sameer Lawns, Punawale, Kolte-Patil Township.
– Number of Buses: 2.
– Frequency: 1 hour 15 minutes.

Bus routes B1, 356, and 375 were extended from 26th May, while routes 17, 118, and 190 were extended from 10th June. PMPML urges commuters, citizens, students, employees, women, senior citizens, and patients to take advantage of the enhanced bus services.
