Hinjewadi, 10th June 2024: On 19th May, a minor, driving a Porsche while intoxicated, tragically killed two young IT engineers. Since then, numerous revelations have emerged about the minor’s family, the Agarwals. A new story has surfaced, revealing that in 2009, a case was filed against the minor’s father, Vishal Agarwal, at the Hinjewadi Police Station involving allegations of fraud against residents of Nancy Brahma Residency in Bavdhan.

Vishal Arun Adsul complained, accusing Vishal Agarwal of constructing 11-story and 10-story buildings without the required permissions from society members. The allegations include the creation of three societies and the misrepresentation of amenities and parking spaces that were supposed to be provided to 71 society residents.

The Hinjewadi Police registered a fraud case against Vishal Agarwal, Ram Kumar Agarwal (his brother), Vinod Kumar Agarwal, Nandalal Kimtani, and Ashish Kimtani, among others.

According to police reports, 71 people bought flats in Nancy Brahma Residency in 2007. This society included parking, amenity spaces, and open areas nearby. However, Vishal Agarwal and his associates allegedly colluded to misrepresent these areas on different maps and obtained approvals without the society’s permission. They then constructed 66 commercial offices in an 11-story building and 27 flats and 18 shops in a 10-story building within the society’s premises. Feeling betrayed and cheated, the residents of Nancy Brahma Residency complained to the Hinjewadi Police Station.

This incident has added another layer of controversy to the Agarwal family’s reputation following the tragic Porsche accident.
