Pune: Criminals Celebrate BJP Victory with “Main Hoon Don” and “Baap Toh Baap Rahega” Near Police Station

Sahakar Nagar, 6th June 2024: A group of individuals waving BJP flags danced to the tunes of “Main Hoon Don” and “Baap Toh Baap Rahega” outside the Sahakar Nagar police station in Pune.

This brazen display occurred as soon as the accused, Ganesh alias Dodya Anant Kathwate and Rishikesh alias Rishi Raju Shinde, residents of Anna Bhau Sathe Nagar in Aranyeshwar, were brought to the police station.

The incident took place amidst celebrations in Pune following the victory of BJP candidate Murlidhar Mohol and the NDA’s majority at the center. A victory procession was organized and a speaker was set up near the Sahakar Nagar police station for the festivities. Dodya and Rishi, who had recently been released on bail from Yerawada Central Jail, were present at the scene and began dancing to the music played on the speaker.

Their behavior violated the conditions of their bail, as they had been issued direct orders regarding their conduct by the police. Despite this, they were found dancing outside the police station. Following the incident, a case has been registered at the Sahakar Nagar police station. Two persons have been arrested till now.
