Pune: Shrirang Barne Secures Hat Trick of Victories in Maval, Thanks Pimpri Chinchwad Citizens

Pimpri Chinchwad, 4th June 2024: Shiv Sena leader and two-time MP from Maval, Shrirang Barne, completed his hat trick of becoming MP in Maval. This time, he defeated former Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Mayor Sanjog Waghere Patil from Shiv Sena (UBT). Barne managed to secure a lead of over 96,000 votes in the six Vidhan Sabha Constituencies that fall under the Maval Lok Sabha Constituency.

Speaking to the media, MP Barne said, “The people of Maval have shown belief in me for the third time. All the MLAs and activists have worked with me in Maval in a unified manner. This is the victory of their efforts. For the last 10 years, I have worked with the citizens for the betterment of this area. The citizens of Pimpri Chinchwad City believed in me. I am grateful to the people of Maval. Even though the situation is different in Maharashtra State, they made me win by 1 lakh votes. I credit the voters, leaders, and activists of Mahayuti. I always said I would achieve a hat trick in Maval. The opposition tried to push a different narrative, but the voters of the constituency didn’t listen to them. They preferred my work in Maval’s development and my contribution to the country. The opposition candidate had no work to show, no face to show. They just criticized me. They tried to change the narrative, but the voters showed them their place. I won with ease, not by grinding.”
