Sangvi, 30th May 2024: The police suspect that the murder in Sangvi, Pimpri Chinchwad, may be linked to a gang war. The deceased, Deepak Kadam, was shot dead three times by two unknown assailants around 10 pm. They fled the scene on a motorcycle. The investigation is focusing on Rehan Shaikh’s gang, with one suspect already arrested by Sangvi police. The possibility of a connection to Yogesh Jagtap’s murder is also under investigation.

Kadam, returning home from a Paan Shop, was caught off guard and fatally shot by one of the assailants in the face. Despite immediate police response, Kadam succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The incident has shocked the Sangvi and Pimple Gurav communities.

Both Sangvi Police and the Crime Branch are conducting parallel investigations. The suspicion arises from Kadam’s association with the Dhamale gang, who are believed to be involved in Rehan Shaikh’s murder. The police are probing potential links between these incidents and Yogesh Jagtap’s murder.
