Pune: Sadhu Vaswani Bridge Shutting Down For Reconstruction From May 26

Koregaon Park, 24th May 2024: The Sadhu Vaswani Bridge in Pune, linking Camp to Koregaon Park, is set to close temporarily from May 26. Commuters are advised to utilize the diversion route during this period.

The closure is anticipated to facilitate the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) in conducting demolition work on the overbridge, with plans to construct a new one. Over the past few months, motorists have faced difficulties accessing the road due to various changes in the project designs. Moreover, the plan faced delays attributed to the Lok Sabha elections held in the city in May 2024.
