Pune, 17th May 2024: Pune-based businessman Avinash Bhosale has finally been granted bail by the Bombay High Court. Bhosale has been granted bail on a surety bond of Rs 1 lakh in a CBI case, but he is yet to receive bail in another case.

Bhosale has been in custody for almost two years. He was first arrested by the CBI on May 26 in connection with the Yes Bank and DHFL scam case. Bhosale is accused of improperly issuing loans. Additionally, he is under investigation by the ED on charges of money laundering.

About a year ago, Bhosale applied for bail in the High Court, but his petition was rejected. However, the High Court has now granted him bail in the CBI case. As he has not yet received relief in the ED case, it remains to be seen whether he will be released from jail.
