Kondhwa, 1st May 2024: Raheja Vista Premiere Sports Committee, located off NIBM Road, recently orchestrated an exhilarating Badminton and Basketball Tournament tailored for children under 18 years. The event served as a platform to showcase the burgeoning talent within the community, drawing enthusiastic participation from budding athletes. Sponsored by Decathlon, a renowned sporting goods retailer, the tournament witnessed spirited matches and fervent competition, amplifying the excitement among participants and spectators alike.
Decathlon’s pivotal role as the main sponsor infused an additional element of thrill, offering attractive goodies and trophies to the victorious contenders. The event garnered significant attention, attracting over 60 participants hailing from various towers within the community. The tournament spanned two weeks, adopting a round-robin format initially, followed by knockout rounds culminating in the crowning of champions, runners-up, and the best player in each category.
Amidst the prize distribution ceremony, Decathlon delighted residents with an array of additional recreational activities, including archery, golf putting, and football.
