Shivajinagar Court Delivers Justice: Tejas Dalvi Gets Death Penalty for Gruesome Crime

Maval, 22nd March 2024: In a tragic incident dating back to August 2, 2022, a seven-year-old girl from Kothurne village in Maval taluka fell victim to abduction, sexual assault, and heinous murder. Following swift action by the Kamshet Police, the accused, identified as Tejas alias Dada Mahipati Dalvi, a resident of Kothurne, was apprehended within a mere 24 hours.
Today, on Friday, March 22, 2024, justice prevailed as the final hearing of this heart-wrenching case unfolded in the Shivajinagar Sessions Court. The court delivered its verdict, sentencing Tejas Dalvi to capital punishment for his despicable crimes. The severity of the incident had gripped the attention of the entire taluka, making this verdict a significant moment for the community.
Furthermore, it was revealed that Tejas Dalvi’s mother was complicit in the crime, attempting to tamper with evidence related to the murder. She has been handed a seven-year prison sentence for her involvement in the harrowing ordeal.
