Pune: National Safety Week Marked With Safety Rally By Pimpri Industries

Pimpri Chinchwad, 21st March 2024: In celebration of the 53rd National Safety Week, Pimpri Industries, in collaboration with the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health, orchestrated a significant Safety Rally within the vicinity of Pimpri. The event, held on March 12, 2024, aimed to promote awareness regarding industrial safety protocols and emphasized the crucial role of behavior-based safety practices.

Employees representing prominent organizations such as GKN Sinter Metals Pvt. Ltd., Elantas Beck, and 3M Industries actively participated in the rally, which commenced under the auspices of SJ Giri, Joint Director of the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health, and V.V. Nikole, Deputy Director of the same department.

Distinguished figures from the industrial sector, including Rajesh Mirani, Director of Operations at GKN Sinter Metals Pvt. Ltd., Sirikumar Ramkrishna, Managing Director of Elantas Beck India Ltd., and Pathade EHS Legal Compliance Head of 3M India, were among the notable attendees who lent their support to the cause.

As the rally reached its culmination, SJ Giri delivered closing remarks, emphasizing the paramount importance of industrial safety and advocating for increased employee engagement to foster a safety-oriented culture within organizations. In his address to the participants, V.V. Nikole urged leaders to motivate their teams to prioritize safety in all assignments, while also stressing the significance of adhering to safety protocols during road travel.
