Take flight with wings of knowledge at the next edition of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz
Mumbai, 23rd August, 2017: Quizzing is no longer just a game; it signifies passion, knowledge, and speed for many, and with good reason. Leading the way, the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz 2017, India’s largest and highest rated business quiz, brings its14th exciting edition, starting on 25th August, 2017, at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
This year, the Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz format is based on the concept of ‘Real Time Strategy’ with an aim to create a simulation of the fast-paced environment, we all operate in. The format will revolve around contemporary gaming concepts and an invigorating set of rounds with decision making and strategy being the key to win the coveted title.
To be held across 25 cities in India, the quiz invites participants from Tata and non-Tata companies (in teams of two each from same organisation) to compete in the regional rounds. The winning team from each regional round qualifies for the four zonal rounds, and the top two winning teams from each zonal round will compete in the national finals scheduled to be held in October 2017 in Mumbai.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Atul Agrawal, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Tata Services, shared, “With its popularity increasing manifold, Tata Crucible is now the veritable quizzing ground for the corporate world to engage themselves in a festival of knowledge outside their usual work environment. This year the competition promises to intensify further and we look forward to spectacular quizzing action from across the country.”
The national winning team will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakhs*, along with the Tata Crucible Trophy. The regional winners and runners-up will win the cash prizes of Rs. 75,000/-* and Rs. 35,000/-* respectively. The prizes for this year’s edition of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz are co-supported by Tata Motors and Tata Global Beverages.
‘Pickbrain’ Giri Balasubramaniam, ace quizmaster known for his sharp one-liners and humour, will continue to conduct the quiz in this exciting edition.
