Pune: 250 Kgs Copper Coil Theft and Vandalism Shake Ambi Village in Maval Taluka

Maval, 19th March 2024: On Saturday (16th March) at midnight in Ambi village of Maval taluka, perpetrators targeted an electrical transformer and stole copper coils weighing 250 kg. Om Sharad Maske, a 22-year-old resident of Nigdi Pradhikaran and owner of Mask Food and Beverages Pvt Ltd, reported the theft to the Talegaon MIDC Police Station, leading to the registration of a case against an unknown individual.

The premises of Maske’s company, Mask Food and Beverages Pvt Ltd, were unlawfully accessed by unidentified persons, who proceeded to pilfer the copper coils from the electrical transformer. Additionally, the perpetrators caused further damage by spilling 100 litres of oil from the transformer, exacerbating the impact of their criminal activities.

Talegaon MIDC Police are investigating this matter further.
