The deceased, identified as Balasaheb Rambhau Kedar (57), was driven to suicide due to the relentless harassment suffered by his daughter at the hands of her husband and in-laws.

Balasaheb’s 29-year-old daughter has filed a complaint with the Pimpri Police Station, detailing the abuse inflicted upon her by her husband, Vikrant Vijay Shewale (29), and his family members, including Vijay Ganpat Shewale (58) and a 48-year-old woman, all residents of Talegaon. The complaint outlines instances of physical and psychological torment endured by the victim, including demands for a dowry amounting to Rs 50 lakh to facilitate the purchase of a house for Vikrant.
