Pune: Counterfeit Currency Seized in Kiwale: 22-Year-Old Arrested with Rs 70,000 in Fake Notes

Kiwale, 26th February 2024: On Sunday (25th February), the Dehu Road Police apprehended a 22-year-old individual in Kiwale at Mukai Chowk, seizing counterfeit notes amounting to Rs 70 thousand.

The arrested individual is identified as Rutik Chandramani Khadse, a 22-year-old resident of Dehu Gaon. Police Constable Kishore Pardeshi of Dehu Road Police Station has officially complained about connection with this incident at the Dehu Road Police Station.

As per the police report, the accused, Rutik Khadse, attempted to circulate 140 counterfeit notes amounting to Rs 70,000. Law enforcement promptly intervened, detaining him and confiscating the entire amount. A case has been registered at the Dehu Road police station, and an ongoing investigation is underway.
